So, it’s REALLY cold here now. It’s been around -30 with the windchill for a week or so (I think that would be around -22 farenheit for my U.S. friends :)). I got a new camera lens for Christmas yay!!! And we wanted to try it out, but with it being sooooooo cold outside, we thought we would try it indoors. It didn’t work very well with the terrible lighting we have in our house so we switched back to my original lens for the indoor pics. The indoor pics just weren’t doing it for me so I braved the frigid cold and ran outside with the new lens and as you can see, it’s hard to beat outdoor pics 🙂
I was seeing over the knee boots all over Pinterest lately and I really like the way they look, but with me being so tall (about 5’10), I wasn’t sure that they would work for me. I decided to head to the mall and try on a few pairs. I found this pair at Aldo and they were on sale and seemed to be just tall enough for me…or maybe they are a bit too short…what do you think? They are comfortable, and actually surprisingly warm outside 🙂 Stretchy, soft fabric. I do find myself pulling them up from time to time, maybe because they are border line too short on me…or maybe because I’m just not used to a boot coming up so high on my legs. They have a silicon band around the top of the boot to help them grip your leg and stay up. I am usually a size 9 (sometimes an 8.5 sometimes a 9.5) and I got these in an 8.5. I went with a flat/very low heel because I figured I’d get more wear out of them this way. All in all, I like them! My husband isn’t sold yet thought I don’t think lol.
