I hope you all had a great weekend! I had hoped to take the kids skating at an outdoor rink if the weather cooperated on the weekend, but…the weather didn’t cooperate lol! It was way too cold on Saturday (about -30 Celsius or -22 Fahrenheit for my U.S. friends). And then Sunday it snowed in the morning and then turned to rain in the afternoon. So we went sliding in the rain in the afternoon lol. We were all wet after of course, but it was fun anyway! I actually went sliding myself and it had probably been about 18 years since I last gave it a try lol I had forgotten how fun it is!
Anyway, on to today’s post! I thought it might be nice to share an idea for a casual Valentin’s Day date outfit! Valentin’s Day lunch with friends, or a casual supper with your significant other 🙂 I’m loving the combination of the mauve with the blush pink for a soft feminine look. I am wearing heels in these pics and as you can see, they were sinking in the snow lol! For those of you who don’t get much snow (or any snow) in the winter, you won’t have to worry about this lol. For those of you who get snow, I would suggest wearing winter boots and bringing your shoes with you. Or, getting dropped off right at the door of the restaurant or where ever your date is 🙂
Tomorrow, I’ll share 2 dressy Valentine’s Day date outfits plus a fun shoe secrete that I have so stay tuned!!
